Caffeine can be consumed during pregnancy but within a limited level. The daily caffeine intake should be 200 milligrams or less. Caffeine increases blood pressure which isn’t good for pregnant women. You need to limit the intake of caffeine during pregnancy, but you can intake caffeinated drinks in moderate levels. As per doctors, pregnant women should drink either one cup or maximum two cups of drinks in a day. Consuming more than 300 milligrams of caffeine should be avoided during pregnancy.
