Counting the Kicks during Pregnancy.

Pregnancy brings a magical moment for every women. Whether you are pregnant for the first time or the third, you must be looking forward to feel the butterfly, punch and kicks from your baby. By the end of 24th week you will start feeling your baby’s movement. This movement of the baby is known as quickening.  It reassure that the baby is in healthy condition. But in the early stage the movement might not be strong. Not all movements are kicks sometime the baby moves the hand, sometime hiccups can make them move .It is a good idea to keep an eye on your baby’s movements. A healthy baby will move well, whereas a baby which is experiencing trouble inside the uterus will move very little. From the time you wake up in the morning till 12 noon you should be able to count at least 10 movements. From 12noon -6pm you should be able to feel another 10 movements. Most babies in the womb are active from evening through the night. If you feel at least three movement then your baby is healthy. If it has not then it’s important to consult your doctor.
