Bee breathing yoga is also known as Bhramari Pranayama. This asana is excellent for stress relief. Studies have shown that the main reason for infertility is psychological stress. Bee breathing calms the body and relieves anxiety and anger which automatically makes the chances of conception better.
How to do this Yoga?
- Sit straight in a comfortable posture (Padmasana).
- Keep your eyes closed and index finger on the cartilage of your ears.
- Take a deep breath in.
- As you breathe out, gently press the cartilage. You can keep the cartilage pressed or press it in and out with your fingers, while making a loud humming sound like a bee.
- Breathe in again and continue the same pattern 3-4 times.
This is a simple breathing technique which can be done anywhere to reduce signs of fatigue, mental stress anxiety and frustration.
Precaution: Do not press your ear cartilage too hard while doing this asana. All pranayama must be done in the morning in empty stomach. If you do it in the evening keep a gap of few hours after you consume food.
